Nine Gables has become a popular venue for "girl-time getaways". Friends, sisters, moms and collegues looking to spend time together drinking good wine, dining out and indulging in spa treatments are among our more frequent guests.
During the spring, summer and fall months, the special combined rate offered to those booking the Lady Fern and Cottage Rose rooms is a great deal for 3 to 4 friends travelling together who don't mind sharing a bathroom. The main floor lounge and sunroom provide a comfortable and private space to share a bottle of wine before heading out for dinner or to just sit and chat. Last summer, three long-time friends who lived a fair distance from each other, picked the County for their brief reunion. They found Nine Gables to be the perfect place to relax and catch up. Within walking distance to at least 4 upscale restaurants, shopping, a pub that offers live music on Friday and Saturday nights and around the corner from an elegant spa, Nine Gables is conveniently located in a quiet historic neighbourhood. During the off season (November to May), the loft apartment with its large gas fireplace and tongue and groove cathedral ceiling is a cosy spot for 2 to 6 people on those cold winter nights. Guests booking this space are often reluctant to leave for dinner prefering to order in. The fully equipped kitchen makes the Loft a home away from home.
